873. Protx Direct v2.0 Request Installation with Paid service
This updates the module to the v2.23 protocol but does not yet implement the PayPal integration.

It also implements the new SagePay URLs.

Please see the support thread for important information regarding these changes.
Minor update to fix problem with AUTHENTICATE transactions.

To update simply overwrite any existing files.
A few minor changes from the previous beta version (mainly fixing a bug when javascript was disabled) - I think all issues are now resolved but as always report any problems in the support thread.
A few changes to the original v5 beta - hopefully almost there with a full version
This module is an updated version of the Protx Direct module for osCommerce (last version was v4.4). The most important feature of this version is a major improvement in the customer experience of the payment process. This version uses the open source jQuery and Thickbox packages to bring a "Web 2.0" AJAX interface to the payment process, with a noticable improvement particularly with the 3D-Secure phase of the process.

The module has been carefully developed to retain compatibility with JavaScript disabled in the customer's browser, albeit with a more clunky interface.

Changes since v4.4
Catalog Side:
Card payment fields moved from checkout_payment.php to checkout_confirmation.php for increased security
Start date and issue number fields hidden unless Maestro or Solo card types are selected
CVV help popup now in a "ThickBox" window
Upon clicking "Confirm" a "ThickBox" window appears in a new layer overlying checkout_confirmation.php. The remainder of the payment process including the 3D-Secure (Verified By Visa / MasterCard SecureCode) takes place in this layer
Checks for a successful transaction before allowing the order to be recorded - thus securing against the publicised payment hack
Minor bug fixes (error with complex database names; not showing error messages due to &amp; instead of & in URL

Admin Side:
Variable amount for RELEASEing DEFERRED transactions
Check live transaction status (e.g. settlement status, batch id etc)

Support thread: http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?showtopic=319007

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS RELEASE BETA - see support thread for info.

874. osc ImageMagic V1.14 Request Installation with Paid service
Dont consider the last post a update. it is not. the original package is from after the contributor stopped. due to friendhip and working together.

im not saying it is no good. but it is not a update. to the poster. please consider what you post before you do it. the contribution are is swamped with posts and leaving the downloaders not knowing what to download. my advice is to download the first post and the second for the install manual. it is well tested. and it is what is used by those in the forum. it is the very latest package from the original author.

i have again included the last original package for you to download
http://web.archive.org/web/20070813113946/www.celtware.com/im/instructions.php

remember only to use the install instructions. dont use the contact form, dont ask for install service. its not provided anymore.

file only contains a simple dump of the pages in html format
Installation instructions for v1.14.

876. auto state dropdowns depending on country Request Installation with Paid service
While version 1.1 seems to have solved the problem caused by HTML characters in state names I decided that it would be safest to use the zone_id in the state dropdowns rather than the state name. That way no matter what kind of characters are in the state name the customer will still be able to select it from the drop down list without receiving an error message. Version 1.2 has also added the "Please Select" message to each state drop down menu so that new address entries will display the osCommerce "Please Select" message instead of the first state name in the list.
Discovered a problem with my original version when used with the World Zones contribution where accented charaters such as é or ï are defined with the HTML code for the character. Any attempt to select a state with such a character results in a error because when the form is submitted the HTML character codes get converted into the actual characters and the state name no longer matches what is in the database. The updated instructions here fix this problem.

If you have already installed this contribution the fix is simple as follows:

There are four files containing the following lines:

while ($zones_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zones_query)) {
$zones_array[] = array('id' => $zones_values['zone_name'], 'text' => $zones_values['zone_name']);}

These files being catalog/create_account.php, catalog/includes/modules/address_book_details.php, catalog/includes/modules/checkout_new_address.php, and catalog/admin/customers.php. In all four of the files those lines will need to be changed to read as follows:

while ($zones_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zones_query)) {
$zones_array[] = array('id' => htmlspecialchars($zones_values['zone_name']), 'text' => $zones_values['zone_name']);}

Immediately below these lines is an echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu statement. In two of the files the third parameter (immediately after $zones_array,) will be something other than a null (''). In those two files (catalog/includes/modules/address_book_details.php and catalog/admin/customers.php) you will need to enclose the third parameter inside an htmlspecialchars function.

In catalog/includes/modules/address_book_details.php the line will need to read as follows:

echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu('state', $zones_array, htmlspecialchars(tep_get_zone_name($entry['entry_country_id'], $entry['entry_zone_id'], $entry['entry_state'])), $parms);

and in catalog/admin/customers.php the line will need to read as follows:

echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu('entry_state', $zones_array, htmlspecialchars(tep_get_zone_name($cInfo->entry_country_id, $cInfo->entry_zone_id, $cInfo->entry_state)), $parms);

We have a problem with some new customers failing to enter the proper state for their address. Apparently they don't enter a value for the state name that osCommerce can find in the zones database and therefore osCommerce returns an error message and a dropdown for the state with the state of Alabama being selected. Obviously the customers are not reading the error message and okay the "updated" address without noticing that the state they entered has been changed to Alabama.

To solve this problem I designed this modification so that osCommerce will display a dropdown list appropriate for each country, or a text input box if there are no zones defined for the selected country. As the country dropdown is changed so does the field for the state.

Support thread:

Imprint has had problems keeping track of sessions, i.e. if two users were logged in to the shop and ordering exactly the same product then both would have orders stored in the database with exactly same text. It's because imprint 1.3.1 seems to have problems in getting session ID.

So I have done some modifications to the original imprint 1.3.1 by running diffmerge against my own (already heavily modified) web shop and comparing to OSC22RC1. I gathered all the changes into one document.

I have not tested the changes on an unmodified web shop and I believe there are still some problems to be ironed out as far as product attributes are concerned. I.e. my fix does not work in my web shop on products that do not have separate attributes (like colour or size) with separate stocks kept for them.

If anybody can test my modifications on a standard osCommerce 2.2 and give me some feedback, that would be very appreciated.

Thanks and enjoy!
Hi, everybody!

As I was thinking of using the imprint option quite extensively in my site I did also some checking of the tables and code supporting the option. I have discovered a serious flaw in the option that MIGHT create unpredicted results in your site.

As far as I understand - guests get their basket contents stored in a cookie, while the text attributes get stored in a table that is connected to the guest's session via the session ID. The problem is that the application never gets the session ID and thus it stores an empty value (null?) in the underlying table.

For those who want the above gibberish translated into English: if you have TWO non-registered guests on you site SIMULTANEOUSLY and they order exactly the same item, but with different texts, they will both get THE SAME TEXT. I believe it will be the last input text that "wins".

I have produced a fix that I am testing right now at my own site. The fix involves getting the session ID into $osCsid from $_REQUEST["osCsid"] or from $_GET["osCsid"], depending on where in the php code you are. My fix seems to work, but I don't really know if it's done the correct way as I don't know a jacksh.t about PHP/MySQL programming and was just trying to make a crude fix to a serious problem. Anyway, I'll post the fix in a few days and will be glad if somebody can review it.

Example of one of the fixes in application_top.php:
$osCsid = $_REQUEST["osCsid"];
tep_db_query("insert into zjsess(sessid, place) values ('" . $osCsid . "','application_top 3 (insert)')");
tep_db_query("insert into customers_basket_text_attributes values ('$osCsid', " . $HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id'] . ", " . $attr['products_text_attributes_id'] . ", '" . addslashes($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_text_attributes_' . $attr['products_text_attributes_id']]) . "');");

1º INÍCIO (START)
Abra o Arquivo "account_history_info.php"

Procure pelo código:

for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($order->products); $i<$n; $i++) {
echo ' <tr>' . "n" .
' <td class="main" align="right" valign="top" width="30">' . $order->products[$i]['qty'] . ' x</td>' . "n" .
' <td class="main" valign="top">' . $order->products[$i]['name'];

if ( (isset($order->products[$i]['attributes'])) && (sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']) > 0) ) {
for ($j=0, $n2=sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']); $j<$n2; $j++) {
echo '<br><nobr><small> <i> - ' . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j]['option'] . ': ' . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j]['value'] . '</i></small></nobr>';
}
}

2º FIM (END)
Substitua (Replace) por esse código.

for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($order->products); $i<$n; $i++) {
echo ' <tr>' . "n" .
' <td class="main" align="right" valign="top" width="30">' . $order->products[$i]['qty'] . ' x</td>' . "n" .
' <td class="main" valign="top">' . $order->products[$i]['name'];

if ( (isset($order->products[$i]['attributes'])) && (sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']) > 0) ) {
for ($j=0, $n2=sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']); $j<$n2; $j++) {
echo '<br><nobr><small> <i> - ' . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j]['option'] . ': ' . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j]['value'] . '</i></small></nobr>';
}
}

// denuz text attr

$attr_q = tep_db_query("select ota.*, pta.products_text_attributes_name from orders_text_attributes as ota, products_text_attributes as pta where ota.orders_id = " . $HTTP_GET_VARS['order_id'] . " and pta.products_text_attributes_id = ota.products_text_attributes_id");
while ($attr = tep_db_fetch_array($attr_q)) {
echo '<br><nobr><small> <i> - ' . $attr['products_text_attributes_name'] . ': ' . stripslashes($attr['products_text_attributes_text']);
echo '</i></small></nobr>';
}

// eof denuz text attr

878. Better Product Display with Admin Request Installation with Paid service
Original file would not pull price info to boxes with price enabled in admin.

Changed:

<tr><td height=45 valign=middle class="smallText"><b>Price: <br><font color="#FF5C02">'.$product_contents[3].'</font></b></td></tr>

To:

<tr><td height=45 valign=middle class="smallText"><b>Price: <br><font color="#FF5C02">'.$product_contents[1].'</font></b></td></tr>

Price will now display correctly.

Enabling 'Model' display in admin displays a'Buy Now' button instead of the model number - didn't know how to fix this.
Hi,
Now you can also use the style on product_listing page.

replace old file product_listing.php under includes_modules using the attached file.

Or rename attached file into product_listing.php.
