This modification took about 20 minutes to make and simply adds the ability for osCommerce to record product cost prices with a simple java script reporting feature, similar to how NET price is calculated from Tax and the Gross Price.

Adds flexibilities for more advanced profitability reporting in osCommerce and brings it that one step closer to E.R.P.

1552. Geburtstagsmailer Request Installation with Paid service
Geburtstagsmailer

Dieses Tool ist in der Lage, Geburtstagsgrüße zu generieren und die eMails für den Versand vorzubereiten.
Um dieses Werkzeug nutzen zu können, müssen Sie über folgende Software verfügen:
- Windows,
- MS Access ab 2000
- MS Outlook ab 2000

Funktionsweise:
Das Access-Tool ist mit der Kundendatei "c:KundenMailcustomers.csv" verknüpft.
Diese Datei sollte monatlich via MYSQL upgedatet und im Verzeichnis
c:KundenMail - gespeichert werden.
Beim Öffnen des Tools geburtstag.mdb werden nur die Kunden generiert, die am heutigen Tag
Geburtstag haben.
Mit einem Klick auf den generieren-Button werden alle markierten Kunden per Mail angeschrieben.
Es muss dann nur noch auf senden geklickt werden. (in den sich öffnenden Outlook-Fenstern)

1553. Save order after checkout_confirmation.php page Request Installation with Paid service
Several payment modules leave the OS Commerce site after checkout_confirmation.php to go to an external payment processor.
If the customer does not return to the site after payment (to checkout_process.php), then the order is not recorded.

You may receive a payment and have no idea for which order it was.

This modification records the order BEFORE going to the external site by invoking checkout_process.php BEFORE the customer goes to the payment processor.
Now when a customer goes to the payment site and does not return, I have the order in the admin module.

Note that there is a similar contribution (5749) which saves the order BEFORE the checkout_confirmation page is displayed.
This contribution saves the order AFTER the customer presses the button on the checkout_confirmation page.

1555. Arrows 1.0 - Flechas 1.0 Request Installation with Paid service

Esta mini contribucion se compone de una serie de parejas de flechas dobles de alta definicion de forma, color y contraste. Suelen mostrarse en muchos de los catalogos OsCommerce bajo las descripciones de los articulos. Cuando se hace clic sobre ellas se muestra el articuo siguiente de la misma categoria o el articulo anterior. Las flechitas que traen las plantillas web por defecto suelen ser un tanto cutres y he visto que muchos usuarios diseñan muchos botones para el catalogo pero ninguno o muy pocos han diseñado estas flechitas. Pues bien, aqui les dejo unas cuantas.

Si desea ver como quedan visite www.cosasmuybaratas.net, haga clic sobre un articulo y fijese en la parte inferior del anuncio. Una captura de pantalla con todos los modelos es incluida en la descarga.

Instrucciones:

Elija su pareja de flechas del color que guste de la carpeta ARROWS_gif y subalas a la carpeta catalog/public_html/images (recuerde hacer copia de seguridad de los ficheros de imagen que se van a sustituir por si alguna vez desea volver a utilizar las imagenes antiguas).

Nada mas. Las flechitas se visualizaran en todos los idiomas que tenga activos en su catalogo.


Nota: En la carpeta ARROWS_png incluyo tambien las imagenes en alta resolucion png por si desea darle a las flechas un tamaño diferente a su gusto.

Solo son 288kb de descarga.
Timepo de instalacion: 1 minuto.

This mini contribution consists of a series of double arrows couples gifs in high definition, color and contrast. Typicall on many OsCommerce catalogues below the products descriptions. When clicking on them next or previous product of the same category is shown. The little arrows those came on OSC use to be rather misers and I have seen that many users design plenty buttons for the catalogue but none or very few ones have designed this purpose. Well... choose the yours!

If you would like to see how they do they look visit www.cosasmuybaratas.net, click on any product and watch and the end of the description. An screenshot showing all different designs is included in the download.

Choose your pair of arrows with your favourite in the ARROWS_gif folder and upload both to the folder catalog/public_html/images (remember to backup copy your existing image files that are going to be replaced with just in the case you would like to return to use the old ones again.

That's it!. The arrows will be shown in all the runing languages in your catalog.

Note: ARROWS_png folder contains the images in the highest png resolution. Very useful if you would like to set specific sizes without afecting the quality definition.

Just 288kb to download.

1559. Shorten Breadcrumbs Sensiblity Request Installation with Paid service
Here is a really simple way to shorten long bread crumb trails without causing the customer to loose access to the crumbs along the trail.

I needed to a way trim the breadcrumb but I didn't want to make things harder for costumers so I decided to keep the first crumb (home), and the last two. All the rest in between are replaced by an ellipsis.

To further aid usability I added title tags so hovering over the breadcrumb reveals the titles they display.

For short bread crumbs (3 or fewer) nothing is trimmed.
