FUNCIÓN Y OBJETIVO: Inserción de código HTML personalizado que sea visible en las categorías. Si los productos pueden tener sus descripciones, ¿por qué no las categorías también?

Esta contribucion añade más dinamismo y amigabilidad a su Comercio, rompiendo la monotonía de ver siempre la misma estructura en las categorías,

De esta forma podemos insertar código HTML para aportar más información en cada categoría, rompiendo con la estructura básica y dando más "colorido" e información a su Web. Otras veces, es necesario en ciertas categorías aportar más información necesaria para el cliente (vea ejemplo http://www.modeltronic.es/baterias-c-58.html)

De esta forma, siempre que en esta categoría haya introducido texto o en general código HTML, quedaría,

FUNCTION & TARGET: The adding of personalized HTML code visible when navigating into categories. If products are allowed to have their own descriptions, why not categories too?

This contribution performs more dinamism and usability to your Commerce, breaking monotony of view always the same categories structure,

For it, we can add HTML code for provide more information in each category, breaking with the basic structure and giving more colourity and information to your site. Other times, several categories need to be showed with more information, necessary for customers (eg.- http://www.modeltronic.es/baterias-c-58.html)

In this way, if I have inserted text or in general HTML code in the current category, the result would be,

1542. Clean unneeded credit card numbers Request Installation with Paid service
I couldn't find the original contribution to add this to so am uploading here.

Use this contribution if you store credit card information in your database. This simple contribution allows you to wipe out all but the last four digits of the card number when you update an order. You can perform this wipe manually or choose to have it done automatically when the order is updated to a particular status (normally Delivered or Shipped). An example is included of how to set it up when you are using CVV (so you can wipe out the CVV as required when it is no longer needed) and credit card encryption.

This is my first contribution and we have been using OSCommerce for sometime and feel that it is time to give back to the comunity.

The contribution is an expansion of the previous mods for scrolling best sellers. It uses Jquery cycle plugin to animate tranistions between the products displayed in each of the boxes. Each box is independantly configured with options for the style of transition and time delay between transitions. Each box also has its own entries within the stylesheet to allow full control over its presentation.

We have been using this modification for 6 months and it has been fully tested in the latest versions of Safari, FireFox, Opera, Netscape and Internet Explorer.

But please ensure that you disable flash pugins in order to see the boxes in use as we are currently redesigning our shop in Flash, in Internet explorer got to Manage add-ons, select shockwave-flash object and disable.

1545. DPS PX Pay Payment Module v1.1 Request Installation with Paid service
Direct Payment Solutions (DPS) offers the PX Pay method for processing
credit card transactions in realtime via a [DPS] Hosted Payments Page.

PX Pay is designed to allow merchants to send transactions to Payment Express®
via https posts, which links to a 128-Bit SSL secure payments page at
https://www.paymentexpress.com/pxpay/pxaccess.aspx. The cardholder is
automatically prompted to enter their details and a response is displayed.
The result is automatically communicated back to the original site the
transaction came from and the order is finalised.

PX Pay is platform independent as the host interface handles XML, which can
be generated with any language on the client side.

The module also features:
- Optional additional email logging of all completed transactions with
DPS. The email will have the DPS transaction details in it, making it
easier to reconcile your osCommerce orders with the DPS Payment Manager
- Optional tracing/server logging for troubleshooting (logged to error_log)
- Ability to select between Auth or Purchase type of payments
- Logo and link to DPS privacy policy for conformance to DPS's requirements (Website Activation Checklist)
