I encountered a problem with redirect linking.
What it do is for example in the contact_us.php page.
If use it when logged it simply log's you out.
To fix, goto:
catalog/includes/functions/general.php
Find:
function tep_redirect($url) {
ADD BELOW
$url = preg_replace('/&amp;/','&',$url);

That's it

1504. Manufacturer Image Fix Request Installation with Paid service
osCommerce has a problem when editing an existing manufacturer's information. If a new manufacturer image is not loaded at the same time then the image that was there previously disappears. osCommerce also fails to delete a manufacturer's image from the server when the manufacturer is deleted.

The solution to the problems is simple. The attached text file details the two simple changes that need to be made to the manufacturers.php to correct the problems.

For those who cannot CHMOD their permissions via FTP / CPanel
use the included file. simple to use
change settings in line 3, upload t your folder and call it in your browser
i.e if your catalog is http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog and you want to CHMOD the catalog / includes / configure.php upload it to your catalog folder and call it via
http://www.yoursite.com/CHMOD.php
Sure you get the idea...
