Some users want to use the store as a catalog only without the shopping cart functions, this gives you total control via admin to turn it all off and back on again with a simple click in admin. This Contribution will enable or disable the shopping cart functions Leaving an information site. There are some contributions for this already but they lack the control and versatility that this add on gives you, if you change you mind and want to use the cart side then all you need to do is reset it in your admin, rather than change the code in the files. My customer wanted this. However I could not find a contribution suitable to their needs, so I made this one. Global settings and multi Language supporting. Very easy to use once installed controlled via the Admin / Configuration / “My Store” The installer adds 4 new lines to the My Store page Account pages visible? Show Buttons (add to cart buttons etc...) Show Prices Show Reviews All set to 0 upon installation which is default, leaves your store as is. To enable the features either together or independently Simply change the 0 to a 1 via Admin edit button. This was written on and for oscommerce-2.2rc2a vanilla install I assume that it will work on oscommerce2.2 milestone but do not guarantee it.
