Introduction

This document describes how to install and get started with Floating Message Board Commercial Version Module. Floating Message Board Module is designed to display a floating message window on your CRELoaded based website, which can greatly catch visitor’s attention and stress the promotional products and services.

Features for Floating Message Board Module:

• Fully integrated into CRELoaded, designed as an independent add-on module, easy installation and configuration; allows enable/disable on the fly;
• AJAX enabled separate configuration page, flexible settings for admin;
• Allow admin to turn on/off the minimize/close window feature;
• Allow admin to define multiple messages to be show on the floating window, either randomly or sequentially;
• Allow admin to define floating window size, title text color, title background color, border color, and position of the window;
• Allow admin to define the text on the window title;

Installation

What other software must be installed first?

Before you can install this product, you must obtain access to a web server with the following:

• PHP 4.x with:
• GD Library
• mCrypt
• Register Globals set to On via httpd.conf, php.ini or .htaccess
• The Apache Webserver
• MySQL database
• The Linux / Unix Operating System
• CRE Loaded 6.2 or later

How do I install CRE Loaded : Floating Message Board Commercial Version Module?

Please follow these steps:

1. FTP the files to your catalog directory on the webserver.


2. At admin page,go to Modules -> Add-Ons, choose "Floating Message Board" item and click "install" button at the right of this page.


3. At admin page,go to Administrator -> File Access -> Tools, add access to the floating_message_board.php file


4. At admin page,go to Tools->Floating Message Board, and then you can add you rule here to limit or deny visitors access your site.

How can I uninstall CRE Loaded : Floating Message Board Module?

    In Modules -> Add-Ons apge, choose Floating Message Board, click remove button .

    Delete all files that you added
