Introduction

This document describes how to install and get started with AJAX based product list Module. The AJAX based product list Module lists products through AJAX method at home page, products listing page and advanced search result page.

Features of the AJAX based product list Module:

• AJAX based product listing, allow switch page style between Grid and List, without refreshing the whole page.
• AJAX based sort by, results per page and pagination settings, dynamic display new results without refreshing the whole page.

Installation

What other software must be installed first?

Before you can install this product, you must obtain access to a web server with the following:

• PHP 4.x with :
• GD Library
• mCrypt
• Register Globals set to On via httpd.conf, php.ini or .htaccess
• The Apache Webserver
• MySQL database
• The Linux / Unix Operating System
• CRE Loaded 6.2

How do I install CRE Loaded : AJAX based product list Module?

Please follow these steps:

1. Upload the files to your catalog directory on the webserver.


2. Open templates/content/advanced_search_result.tpl.php file, before

6. Run SQL statement in phpMyAdmin:
   INSERT into configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function) values ('AJAX based product list', 'ENABLE_AJAX_PRODUCT_LIST', 'true', 'Use AJAX based product list.', '8', '50', now(), now(), '','tep_cfg_select_option(array(''true'', ''false''),');

How can I uninstall CRE Loaded : AJAX based product list Module?

    1. Run SQL statement in phpMyAdmin:
    DELETE FROM configuration WHERE configuration_key = 'ENABLE_AJAX_PRODUCT_LIST' LIMIT 1

    2. Delete all files that you added

    3. Change all modified files back.
