Introduction

This document describes how to install and get started with Scrollable Product Viewer Module. The Scrollable Product Viewer Module allows showing more products' information in a limited area, when user put mouse over the left or right arrow icon on the scrollable viewer, more products' information will be automatically displayed in the box.

Features of the Scrollable Product Viewer Module:

Installation

What other software must be installed first?

Before you can install this product, you must obtain access to a web server with the following:

• PHP 4.x with :
• GD Library
• mCrypt
• Register Globals set to On via httpd.conf, php.ini or .htaccess
• The Apache Webserver
• MySQL database
• The Linux / Unix Operating System
• CRE Loaded 6.2

How do I install CRE Loaded : Scrollable Product Viewer Module?

Please follow these steps:

1. Upload the files to your catalog directory on the webserver.
2. Run below sql statement in phpMyAdmin
   INSERT INTO `configuration` (`configuration_title`, `configuration_key`, `configuration_value`, `configuration_description`, `configuration_group_id`, `sort_order`, `last_modified`, `date_added`, `use_function`, `set_function`) VALUES ('Scrollable Product Viewer Preference', 'SCROLLABLE_PRODUCT_VIEWER_PREFERENCE', '', 'which products will be shown in Scrollable Product Viewer. Empty means "All Products"', 8, 10000, '2009-11-18 19:10:36', '0000-00-00 00:00:00', NULL, 'tep_cfg_choose_scrollable_products('), ('Show Random Picked Products', 'SCROLLABLE_PRODUCT_RANDOM_PICKED', 'true', 'Show random products for scrollable product viewer', 8, 10001, '0000-00-00 00:00:00', '0000-00-00 00:00:00', NULL, 'tep_cfg_select_option(array(''true'', ''false''),');
3. Go to Admin -> Configuration -> Product Listing -> Scrollable Product Viewer Preference, set the products that you want to show in front scrollable module
4. Go to Admin -> Design Controls -> Template Management, edit your current template, add scrollable_products.php to the Modules for Catalog index page

How can I uninstall CRE Loaded : Scrollable Product Viewer Module?

    1. Delete all files that you added

    2. Change all modified files back.

    3. Run SQL statement:
                     delete from configuration where configuration_key in ('SCROLLABLE_PRODUCT_VIEWER_PREFERENCE', 'SCROLLABLE_PRODUCT_RANDOM_PICKED')
